Refund Policy


Replacements or refunds are provided only if the product is defective or significantly different from its description on our website. You must submit a claim within 14 days of the delivery date.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Refunds apply only to the product’s unit price.

If there’s an issue with your order, please submit a claim through our online form. You’ll need your order number and the email address used at checkout. We’ll review your request and determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate.

Returns are not accepted. Unauthorized returns are not eligible for replacement or refund, and you’ll be responsible for return shipping costs.

Non-returnable Items

  • Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming we received it and whether your refund was approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within a few days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Then contact your bank — there is often processing time before a refund appears.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@czechcookbookshop.com and we’ll provide the next steps.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
